Waste Pickers Association Of Nigeria (WAPAN), in collaboration with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) recently announced the introduction of the #GreenRisingProject in commemoration of World Cleanup Day 2024.
According to WAPAN, the #GreenRisingProject mobilised over 600 youths across Lagos, Kano and Abuja for a week-long campaign of extensive waste collection, recovery, and recycling.
