Zenith Bank’s Deputy CEO, Adaora Umeoji, also serving as Deputy MD has retired after seven years of being in that role.
The document reads like this “This follows the expiration of her tenure of office as Deputy Managing Director in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) circular No. FPR/DIR/PUB/CIR/001/070 dated February 24, 2023,”.
Adaora Umeoji joined Zenith bank in 1998 and was appointed as head of the marketing group, Maitama branch, and also deputy zonal head of the Abuja zone.
She rose to a board member of Zenith Bank in October 2012, and later took on the role of executive director in charge of Abuja and the middle belt zones of the bank.
Umeoji is an experienced banker and founder of the Catholic Bankers Association of Nigeria. She obtained her first degree from the University of Jos, and later an MBA from the University of Calabar, with a doctorate from Apollos University Montana.
She is on the board of Palais Vendome Limited and a member of the Chartered Insititute of Bankers of Nigeria, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, a member of the Institute of Credit Administration, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
